Waves make foam
03:22
|
|||
we crash back home, like how waves make foam
to disappear again
like the the first time that he'd ever seen the ocean
suddenly was sucked in by its motion
we crash back home, like how waves make foam
to disappear again
Im just a grain of sand at sea
Its pulse it came to swallow me
we crash back home, like how waves make foam
to disappear again
Im sinking at some predetermined pace
Il sink until I find a resting place
at bottom with the reeds and the waste
glowing in the darkness, things they race
to crash back home, like how waves make foam
to disappear again
Im struggling my friend to see and end
juggling all these things as we bend
up and down we stretch from side to side
just something to do as we wait for the tide
to crash back home, like how waves make foam
to disappear again

Melting butter
02:13
|
|||
I finally come down
from space to see your face
you don't pick up the phone, I wonder to your place
but your so hard to find
through crystal streets that bend and wind
just like melting butter, theres a separation
as Im filtered through the cracks
and out of my mind,
from my head I wonder to your bed
where once I was more careful where my feet should tread

Balloons
02:49
|
|||
let go of the string and watch another balloon
get so high so soon
people might see it from miles away
and it might brighten their day
maybe it will burst on the beak of a crow
get rapped around its face and kill the thing slowly
you just never know
thinking while taking in a breath of fresh air
could build a treehouse up there
all the joy that it could bring to little offspring
as they play and the sing
someday when it rains and wood will get wet
children will slip and fall to their death
its a gamble at best
so I cant put any merit on the things we do
and pretend there's use in being useless too
from a healthy indifference to caring too much
should I wear that hat? should I eat that lunch?

Bangs on the door
02:13
|
|||
Sometimes beams of sunlight
make their way into the room
from the wall to where we lay,
across the floor, there goes the day
sometimes its just raindrops
and mossy little streams
that come here to acquaint me
and shake me from my dreams
ooh the one I adore
is it that we'll never know or just don't know anymore
the wind it used to whisper, now it bangs on the door
the moment slipped right through our fingers
and got blown away
running round in circles
cause I wanted one to stay
but once where there was love
is now just archeology
Im so tired of digging holes
when I dig them all for me me
ooh the one I adore
is it that we'll never know or just don't know anymore
the wind that used to whisper, now it bangs on the door
